vehicles. South Glens Falls Auto Body will work with your
insurance company to provide a quality collision repair at an
affordable and fair price.
We
are an authorized
Checkpoint pre-insurance location. The Checkpoint
pre-insurance inspection provides your insurance company with
a vehicle description, a detailed inventory of its options
and accessories, an assessment of its physical condition and
photographs of the vehicle and of the "Vehicle Identification
Number" (VIN). At the time of the inspection, a trained
inspector takes four pictures of the vehicle - two
illustrating right and left profiles, one of the VIN (Vehicle
Identification Number) located on the door jam, and one of
the odometer reading on the dashboard. The customer's
personal information and the physical condition of the
vehicle are recorded. This information is data entered,
verified to ensure that the VIN does not match that of a
stolen vehicle, imaged and sent electronically to the
insurance company.
